La Frégate’s cuisine has acquired an outstanding reputation both internationally and locally. It is regarded by many Islanders as Guernsey's premier restaurant.
We are extremely fortunate to enjoy some of the best local seafood and quality ingredients and our menus make the most of them, from locally caught lobster and sole to spinach and leeks, grown in our own garden.
Head Chef Neil Maginnis’ philosophy is simple. Take those ingredients; use classical preparation methods to maintain their natural flavours then serve them in beautiful surroundings with a level of service that these days is increasingly difficult to find.
